A very good camera
This is my second camera and I have been using it for a few months this summer. I am very impressed by the battery life. The last weeks I have used the time lapse function and taken a lot of pictures. After more than 5 000 pictures, some 25% of them night time, the battery life was still 85 %! I have used it a lot the last month and I am still on my second battery round (rechargeable). I also like the reaction time, it really catches moving game. A roe deer walking by 30 meters in front of the camera and there was four pictures of it (Rapid fire). I like the Time lapse function very much; I don’t think any camera matches it. Still I would like to have more possibilities to set time between pictures. Now one can set 1,5,15,30 or 60 minutes between them but I would rather have continuous minutes. Most of the setting possibilities I need is there but there could be more options for inactivity period. Now one have 0, 15s, 30s, 1 min or 5 min but I would again prefer continuous minutes between 1 and 30 min. The night time IR-pictures are OK. But it is obvious that moose and roe deer can se the light and also become s little nervous by it. My next camera will be the Reconyx RC60 covert which should be totally invisible. It is easy to set up with few buttons and intuitive menus. Over all a fantastic camera!
Moose on mineral stone. Early evening with IR.
Good battery life. Good time lapse function. Fast reaction time. Easy to set up. OK picture quality. On the negative side I have to look hard. Maby some more setting possibilities in time lapse mood and with the inactivity periods.
