Construction of the weather proof housing makes one feel secure in all forms of weather. These are light weight, approximately the same weight as a camera fully loaded with batteries, not cumbersome. I would highly recommend them to any camera owner. They come in 6 volt and 12 volt.

It would be nice if they could shorten the 15 hour charge time, for when you have numerous battery kits, it takes up all your plug ins in your house.

Squirrel and rodent proof wires? Somehow? For when they climb the trees (raccoons and squirrels) they pull the wires free from the camera. Rodents are known for chewing electrical wiring also. I've known people who've had this experience, I haven't yet. (knock on wood)

I would highly recommend the 6 and 12 volt battery kits to camera owners with external battery hookup.
