This blend of annual forage turnips, sugar beets and forage rape are unbelievable fall attractants. They are very fast growing, and are “cool weather” plants which make them ideal for late summer planting. They grow large and leafy and will produce many tons of nutritious, high protein forage per acre for your deer herd. In addition, it is a tremendous winter food for your deer which will help them survive the rigors of post-rut and winter and come into the spring/summer antler growing and fawning season healthier and stronger. Seeding rate is 4-5 lbs. per acre.

This fast germinating, inexpensive mix of bi-annuals is designed for that late season (August- September) planting. It establishes itself before winter sets in and deer love it. It grows best in areas that receive full sun. It is frost tolerant and is a good, high-energy food for deer prior to winter. Seeding rate is 25 lbs. per acre (seems like a lot, but is due to the larger seed size).

Mix contains Winter Rye, Hairy Vetch, Winter Peas and Dwarf Rapeseed.
